Civica coaches executives through the real-time challenges of building and leading an organization.

Eugene Kirpichov came to Civica after launching Work on Climate. His mission was bold. Building a new nonprofit organization to match it was challenging.

Over a two-year period, Eugene met regularly with Civica CEO, Ilir Zherka, to navigate the real-time challenges of running a young organization. Together, they worked through staff performance questions and management structure, board development, and financial stewardship. Ilir also helped Eugene consider new models for his work, including how to balance existing needs with emerging opportunities.

The Impact: Eugene reports that his experience with Ilir was "fantastic." He adds that Ilir would "always listen and probe into the truly important parts of my context" before guiding him toward next steps.
